Q: Who is the EBA?
A: The Eastside Business Association was created by its Executive Director and Founding Board Members. Each one of theses Directors has been working and volunteering in the Eastside Community for as much as 20 years individually. All our Board Members have and do sit on a variety of Community and Business Boards in the Greater Eastside Area. The creation of the EBA was to fill the need to support businesses in mentoring, networking, marketing and becoming more involved in community support.
Q: Do you have networking event?
A: The EBA networking events include the Friday Morning Networking Breakfast, our monthly Workshop Luncheon and Learning Seminars and of course, our monthly Prime Time Business Socials.
Q: Are there any mentor opportunities
A: We also have the EBA Business Mentor Program which pairs small business owners with seasoned professionals who have a sincere interest in helping conquer challenges and seize new opportunities that could assist you in your business goals.
Q: What sort of community involvement does the EBA participate in?
A: The EBA raises funds and supplies volunteerism for charities focusing on children's needs and the betterment of the Eastside Community itself.
Q: How is the EBA different from a chamber of commerce and other business associations?
A: We focus on your personal business growth and service to the community. We do not focus on public policy, political issues or the economic development studies as a chamber of commerce does.
There are other business groups out there who focus on you building your business, however the Eastside Business Association is comprised of seasoned business leaders from all industries in the Eastside community. These community leaders are and have been focused on building the strength and vitality of the Eastside community and surrounding areas for many years.
Q: How much does it cost to join?
A: The fee structure is simple. Your first year’s dues are $225 with a $35 one time administrative fee.
